The date to begin Exchange under the Data Exchange Framework (DxF) is a requirement established in Health and Safety Code section 130290. The Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI) is not authorized to grant extensions or exemptions from state law. HCAI will continue to develop resources to help Participants understand how to meet their obligations under the DxF. Stakeholders are encouraged to stay engaged and may subscribe to DxF email updates. These updates provide important information and links to helpful resources as well as upcoming events.
