State Approaches to Event Notification Webinar – (July 16, 2026, 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM PT)

The California Health & Human Services Agency’s (CalHHS) Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI) will host leaders from several states to discuss their varied approaches to event notification. Panelists will share their experiences, lessons learned, and best practices for implementing event notification within their state.

The webinar will feature presentations from the following states /organizations:

  • North Carolina
  • Maryland
  • New York
  • Massachusetts

Voluntary Withdrawal from the QHIO Program: SCHIO

Effective June 25th, 2026, Serving Communities Health Information Organization (“SCHIO”) has voluntarily withdrawn from participation as a QHIO and as an intermediary within the DxF.

A statement from SCHIO:

“SCHIO appreciates and sincerely thanks CDII and HCAI for their collaboration, partnership, and stewardship in advancing California’s interoperability framework. SCHIO’s Board made this decision thoughtfully after careful evaluation of long-term organizational sustainability and the evolving needs of regional interoperability.
